Metamorphosis is interested in exploring the materiality of painting without the confines of a set canvas. Large scale collage let my painting go beyond the rectangle and off the wall.

Metamorphosis examines predator and prey dynamics as well as cyclical power structures. It is composed of two series of collage pieces, The Grasshopper and The Stork. Each element can be moved and reconfigured to fit different spaces. While being displayed, the elements of The Grasshopper and The Stork were constantly moving and changing compositions. They began and ended their rotations side by side on the floor, as seen in the fourth image below.
